Overview

Justin Averett is an attorney practicing in Swift Currie’s civil litigation section. Utilizing his passion for litigation and delivering attentive and responsive client service, Justin defends his clients in civil matters related to premises, products and auto liability litigation in state and federal courts.

Before transitioning to private practice, Justin was an assistant solicitor for the City of Atlanta where he managed the development of civil cases and reviewed pertinent case law, statutes and various legal documents. This role served as a formative experience, allowing him to connect and help people handle issues within the community. As the contact person for the Solicitor’s office for the Neighborhood Planning Unit in Buckhead, he worked with city leaders to make necessary improvements for the residents.

Building relationships and trust with his clients is integral to Justin’s practice. A results-driven and client-focused litigator, Justin walks his clients through each step of the claims process to ensure he secures outcomes tailored to their individual needs and goals.

While earning his J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, Justin wrote for the Arkansas Journal of Social Change and Public Service, Arkansas Probate and Trust Law Review and Arkansas Real Estate Law Review. He also provided services for the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic and Mediation Clinic.
