William Johnston

William Johnston is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. He focuses his practice on the defense of matters pertaining to automobile litigation, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, commercial litigation, premises liability, products liability, professional liability and trucking litigation.

Prior to joining Swift Currie, William worked in the Legislative Counsel’s Office at the Georgia Capitol, where he was immersed in a wide variety of topics, including criminal statutory law and legislative privilege. He has attended numerous depositions, hearings, and trials on both the plaintiff and defense side, as well as criminal and family law hearings.

In his practice, William strives to establish a foundation with his clients based on direct and open communication. With his upbringing in the customer service industry, William is well-equipped with the skills to communicate with a variety of clients and adversaries.

William earned his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law. He received his B.A. from Georgia State University.
