Overview
Jeff D. Boyd is a Swift Currie senior attorney who practices in the areas of catastrophic injury and wrongful death, construction law, premises liability, products liability and trucking and transportation litigation.
Jeff has defended clients in civil litigation matters since 2012, at pre-suit, suit and appellate stages. Prior to entering private practice, Jeff worked as a staff attorney at a federal district court and a state supreme court, gaining experience in how lawsuits are handled on the other side of the bench in both trial and appellate matters. He has represented long-haul, regional and local carriers, bus operators, construction project subcontractors, general contractors and owners, product sellers, manufacturers and designers.
Jeff is skilled in fostering client relationships, evaluating claims early and often, and identifying case-specific strategies. He prides himself on avoiding a one-size-fits-all approach on cases. Jeff has a strong aptitude for keeping clients informed and keeping lines of communication with opposing counsel open.
Jeff earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. He received his B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
