Dan McCann

Daniel “Dan” J. McCann is an associate at Swift Currie, focusing his practice on civil defense litigation. He represents clients in complex matters involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death, construction law, premises liability, products liability and trucking litigation. 

Dan’s practice approach centers on mitigating risk and exposure for clients facing unforeseen legal challenges. Clients appreciate his ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical guidance, making legal strategies more accessible and actionable. 

Dan earned his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law and holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Georgia. Prior to practicing law, he conducted tax due diligence for acquisition targets for an accounting firm, providing him with valuable insight into financial risk assessment and regulatory compliance.
