Overview
Kristin J. Goulart is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Birmingham office. She focuses her practice on defending employers, insurers and self-insureds in workers' compensation claims.
Prior to joining Swift Currie, Kristin represented clients in civil defense litigation against various claims in the areas of personal injury, premises liability and employment law. Kristin has defended numerous high-stakes matters entailing seven-figure exposure.
In her practice, Kristin strives to be personable, detail-oriented and always makes her client's best interest the top priority. Recognizing the stress that case uncertainty can cause, Kristin works to mitigate her clients' worries by delivering fast and accurate answers to any questions they have and laying out multiple plans of action to ease their minds. With excellent communication and negotiation skills at the forefront of her practice, Kristin’s clients can feel confident that they have all of the details and information they need to understand their case and its potential outcomes.
Kristin earned her J.D. from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. She received her B.A. from the University of Alabama.

Interests
Kristin is a Certified Open Water Scuba Diver and enjoys taking scuba trips to various places in the Caribbean, specifically the U.S. Virgin Islands, where she lived for two years prior to joining Swift Currie. Kristin also enjoys hiking, fitness and spending time with her golden retriever, Zeus.
