Overview
Sally Hayden is an associate attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on the defense of cases involving liability and insurance coverage disputes.
Prior to attending law school, Sally was as a social worker for five years both in Georgia and internationally. This unique background instilled in her skills that she believes are essential to the legal profession, such as empathy, regular communication and undivided attention to clients in order to best meet their specific goals and provide optimal outcomes.
While in law school, Sally participated in the Georgia State College of Law immigration clinic, where she managed a status adjustment case from filing through litigation before an immigration judge. She also previously participated in pro bono projects in law school to expand her exposure to the force of good that the legal world can be. She clerked for both an insurance defense firm and a commercial litigation firm throughout law school, giving her a vast knowledge of civil litigation.
Sally served as president of the GSU Law Mock trial team (student trial lawyer association). She competed in three national competitions, won Best Advocate at the Hofstra National Medical Malpractice Competition and competed in 11 trials with the GSU’s National Trial League. She was a pupil in the Bleckley Inn of Court.
Sally earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia College of Law. She received her B.S.W. from the University of Georgia.
