Overview

Tameika L. Briscoe is a senior attorney in Swift Currie’s Atlanta office. She focuses her practice on defending insurers and their insureds in matters pertaining to automobile litigation, catastrophic injury and wrongful death, commercial litigation, governmental liability, premises liability and trucking litigation.

With over 20 years of defense experience, Tameika has had great success resolving client matters before or at mediation, however she is well equipped to take cases to trial when necessary. Tameika also has extensive experience participating in private mediations as well as court-mandated settlement conferences before Federal Magistrate judges. She has over 10 years of experience litigating in Federal Courts across the country.

In her practice, Tameika prioritizes her ability to communicate, educate, advise and advocate for clients of all sizes and varying issues.

Tameika earned both her J.D. and B.A. from The Ohio State University.

Interests

Tameika is committed to supporting her community and has provided pro-bono legal services for the Georgia Justice Project, the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and the Georgia Appleseed Center for Law & Justice. She is also active in her sorority graduate chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, and currently serves on their National Protocol team.
