On Aug. 28, partner Cristine Huffine will participate as the defense attorney in a mock pre-hearing Zoom conference and mock Zoom hearing during the State Board of Workers' Compensation's Zoom for the Workers' Compensation Practitioner virtual event.
Mock Pre-Hearing Zoom Conference | 1:30-2 p.m.
A mock pre-hearing conference of an administrative law judge, claimant’s attorney, and defense attorney, based on a fictional case, at which instructions are provided to the attorneys regarding using the Zoom platform to try the case.
Mock Zoom Hearing | 2:15-3:15 p.m.
Using the same fictional case, a mock hearing tried by the claimant’s attorney and defense attorney before an administrative law judge, demonstrating how to sequester witnesses, examine witnesses, use demonstrative evidence and confer with clients via Zoom.
