Swift Currie Attorneys to Speak at ICLE Workers' Compensation for the General Practitioner

Swift Currie partners Alex Ficker and Briggs Peery will participate on panels at Workers' Compensation for the General Practitioner, a State Bar of Georgia ICLE program, on May 21, 2021.
Ficker will speak on the panel, "Know When to Hold 'Em & Know When to Fold 'Em: Mediation in Workers' Compensation Claims," at 9:35 a.m. Peery will speak on the panel, "Everything You Need to Know About Workers' Compensation Hearings," at 12:15 p.m. Both panels will also feature an administrative law judge and a claimant's attorney.
Other topics of discussion include board forms, the intake process, defenses to workers' compensation claims and a case law update. The full program will be held from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
