Attorneys Joanna Jang and Dustin Thompson will host "Don't Fret About It! How the Recent Decision in Frett v. State Farm Employee Workers' Compensation Affects Scheduled Breaks and Ingress/Egress Work Accidents" on Feb. 27, 2019, from 1-2 p.m. ET.
The Georgia Court of Appeals recently rendered a bright-line rule in Frett v. State Farm Employee Workers’ Compensation regarding how the ingress and egress rule applies to the scheduled break exception. Jang and Thompson will first give an overview of both the ingress and egress rule and the scheduled break exception, followed by a discussion of the specific facts of the Frett case. They will also take a look at how the court’s opinion in Frett affects the ingress and egress rule and the scheduled break exception moving forward in Georgia workers’ compensation claims.
The webinar will offer one general hour of continuing education credit for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance.
