WEBINAR: Super Sleuths - Tips and Tricks for Claims Handling and Investigation
Attorneys Rebecca Strickland, Kori Eskridge and Christine H. L. Russell will host the webinar, "Super Sleuths: Tips and Tricks for Claims Handling and Investigation," on Nov. 10 from 1-2 p.m. Eastern.
We all investigate and evaluate claims every day. Sometimes, there is little information to go on, while other times the claim or litigation file can be thousands of documents. Regardless of the size of the file, there are steps to take, especially at the outset of the claim, to ensure that important information and evidence is obtained.
The attorneys will discuss some best practices to use when investigating claims and cases in the coverage and liability context. They will also highlight some lesser-used methods to consider in your future claims handling. In addition, they will cover the ethical considerations and interplay regarding how the information obtained through these investigation tactics is used by attorneys to evaluate coverage and engage in litigation efforts.
The webinar will offer one ethics continuing education credit (pending approval) for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance.
