Attorneys Fred Ferrand and Lauren Meadows will host the webinar "Who is Paying for This?? Indemnification, Contribution and Additional Insured Coverage: Contractual and Common Law Methods for Making Someone Else Pick Up the Tab" on July 21, 2022, from 1-2 p.m. EST.
During this webinar, Ferrand and Meadows will address the legal authority which allows an insurance company to shift responsibility for the defense and/or payment of a claim to another entity and will detail the processes for doing so.
Attorneys will also address:
- Additional insured coverage
- Contractual language: defend, indemnify, hold harmless
- Common law indemnification and contribution (and their limitations)
- Methods for demanding indemnification, contribution and additional insured coverage
The webinar will offer one general hour of continuing education credit for attendees registered with the Georgia Department of Insurance.
