Swift Currie Runs for Justice

On Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, Swift Currie sponsored Atlanta Legal Aid's Run for Justice, which benefits the organization's general operating fund. Our team of runners braved the cold temperatures with their friends, families and others in the legal community to take on the 5K beginning and ending at One Step at a Time in Decatur. The team proved "swift" as some of our attorneys took home the following awards:

• 1st place Male Age Group: Drew Timmons
• 2nd place Female Age Group: Ronni Bright
• 3rd Place Male Age Group: Dan Kingsley
• Masters Winner: David Black

Founded in 1924 by a group of lawyers and community leaders, Atlanta Legal Aid offers free civil legal aid for low-income people across Atlanta and reaches tens of thousands of people annually through their offices, community programs, project and self-help clinic. More than 20,000 cases are represented by Atlanta Legal Aid's staff of 75 attorneys and 1,200 volunteers every year.
