Swift Currie Continues Growth With Two New Attorneys in Atlanta Office
Swift, Currie, McGhee & Hiers, LLP, is pleased to announce the addition of two new attorneys in its Atlanta office. Christopher K. Gifford joins the firm as a senior attorney along with Brianna S. Tucker as an associate. With this announcement, Swift Currie has added 27 attorneys in 2018 as a continuation of its strategic plan to grow in tandem with client needs. Now with approximately 140 attorneys, the firm is Atlanta’s largest law firm focused solely on litigation.
“We are excited to continue adding great attorneys like Christopher and Brianna who share our commitment to providing the highest standards of service to our clients and community,” said Terry O. Brantley, managing partner of Swift Currie. “Our continued growth has bolstered our deeply experienced roster of attorneys comprised of diverse backgrounds, which furthers our clients’ ability to succeed in just about any type of litigation matter they may face.”
Christopher Gifford counsels clients in the area of workers’ compensation, with experience representing both employee and employer-side interests. At Swift Currie, he represents employers, insurers and third-party administrators in litigated and non-litigated claims, including investigation of claims, participating and taking depositions, preparing reports to clients, participation in formal and informal settlement negotiations, and preparation for and conducting of hearings.
Gifford earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his law degree from the Cumberland School of Law.
Brianna Tucker joins the firm’s litigation team and brings experience handling a wide range of legal areas, including immigration, real estate, health care, cases of equity, domestic matters and the full spectrum of cases falling within the jurisdiction of Georgia Superior Courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Tucker clerked for the Honorable Judge Philip C. Smith of the Superior Court of Forsyth County. She received her undergraduate degree from Emory University in 2006, her master’s degree from the University of South Carolina and her law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law.
