On Feb. 10, Law360 published an article discussing the Supreme Court of Georgia's ruling in Donggue Lee v. David A. Smith regarding the exclusion of a defense expert witness. The court ruled the witness should not have been excluded from a trial over an automobile crash, which "allegedly hampered an Olympic athlete's high jump career, putting a $2 million jury verdict in jeopardy." Lee is represented by partners David Atkinson and Brad Wolff.

During this season of gratitude, Swift Currie is grateful to partner with East Coweta Middle School's Helping Others Prosper Everyday (HOPE). From Nov. 7-15, the firm hosted a canned food drive and collected donations to assist HOPE in providing a bountiful Thanksgiving dinner to 28 families in need.

The firm's attorneys and staff, along with members of the Atlanta community, joined together to plant trees in the Piedmont Heights neighborhood in an effort to help make the city a cleaner, greener and more inviting place to live and work.
